me Who´s that guy bringing this stuff online? An attempt to explain Some
people know me as Frank, some as Vrank (especially in the SCA, but nearly no difference so far).
I´m doing this hobby known as "reenactment". Well, don´t take this to seriously. With every necessary respect for the ancestors (and all those reenactors doing the really serious thing) it´s still a hobby that shall take me away from this very present monday-till-friday stuff. So this side is NOT filled with scientific seriousness but with everything connected to my personal way of filling my evenings and weekends with activities related to life in the middle ages. Publishing this in the www is not meant to show of. "Wow, look what a smart guy I am. So important, so bright, so ..." NO! I´d just like to share the pictures, the links, the experiences by doing this hobby since 1999 and so on. A certain lack of accuracy may be explained by my interest in the whole era from the early to the late middle ages, my tendency to give nearly every craft and other activity possible at least one try, and finally, my bad habit to do some things the convenient way (such as using a sewing-machine quite often).
